Project Info:
We were asked to create an impactful, rustic feature bar installation for an exhibition being held at Tobacco Dock, London.
The installation includes a two metre rustic wooden bar built from various types and styles of reclaimed pallet timber, with a solid wood waney edge bar top sanded smooth and finished with water repelling tung oil. Retro beer pump for display purposes only unfortunatley. The front bar display is completed with some vintage cast iron tractor stools, artificial ficus trees and vintage apple crates containing decorative logs, ivy and LED illuminated scrumpy bottles.
A "U" shape, self-supporting, reclaimed rusty corrugated steel backdrop it topped with a small trellising based, over head, abundant floral and foliage display. Tucked in each corner are artificial ficus trees encased with a stack of vintage apple crates. These are filled with decorative logs, artifical ivy and an assortment of breweriana from over the decades.
The rear of the backdrop is clad in a rough cut timber to ensure the installation gives visal appeal from every angle.
We've included a picture of the backdrop sans decoration, as we think it looks lovely naked.
