Rustic Wheeled Fridge Surrounds

We were commisioned by a mobile bar company based in Derbyshire to create a couple of wheeled surrounds for their event fridges that they could also use for a floral backdrop to their bar set-ups.

We had to adapt the wheeled bases that they already had their fridges on with rustic wooden surrounds to fit in with the theme of the rustic wooden pallet bars we had previously built for them.

We built a frame for each fridge and clad it in some rough sawn timber and topped them with some plywood that we finished in two different coulours of chalk paint which we sanded back to give a weathered look and protected the finish with some wax.

We added a removable wooden trellelsing to the rear of the units for our client to decorate with a variety of artificial flowers as they saw fit for each event set up.
